Many of the printers that are available for sale now have the ability to print wirelessly.
While this is useful when you need to print from a laptop or desktop computer and don’t have the option of running a lot of wires, it also lets you print from a compatible smartphone pretty easily.
You can add a printer from your iPhone 13 by opening a file you want to print, tapping the share icon, choosing Print, then tapping Select Printer, and choosing the desired printer.
This means that you can do things like print a PDF without getting on a computer, or print a boarding pass or something else that you might need while traveling.
Our guide below will show you more about printing on your iPhone 13.
How to Connect Printer to iPhone 13

How to Print from an iPhone 13 (Guide with Pictures)
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 13 in iOS 15.3.1. However, these steps will also work for other iPhone models in most versions of the iOS operating system.
Step 1: Open an app that contains the file you want to print.
I am printing from the Safari app in the example below, but you can also print from things like Mail, Docs, Photos, etc.
Step 2: Touch the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
It looks like a square with an arrow pointing upward out of it.
Step 3: Select the Print option from the list of sharing methods.
You will probably need to scroll down a bit to find the printing option.
Step 4: Tap the Printer button at the top of the screen.
Step 5: Choose the printer that you would like to use.
Step 6: Tap the Print button at the top-right of the screen.
Our tutorial continues below with additional discussion on printing a document from your iPhone 13.
More Information on How You Can Print on Your iPhone 13
The steps in this article assume that your iPhone and your printer are both connected to the same wireless network. If you aren’t seeing the printer you want to use as an option from your iPhone then make sure your iPhone isn’t connected to a cellular network.
Not every app on your iPhone has the ability to print. However, if you take a screenshot on your iPhone 13 by pressing the volume up button and the Power button, you can print the picture that is created by the screenshot.
Files that you print from your iPhone may not be sized as well as the ones that you print from a computer. I often find this to be a case when I am trying to print images, or something other than a document that is configured to print easily by default.
If you are trying to print from the iPhone’s Notes app then you will need to touch the three dots at the top-right of the screen instead, then choose the Print option from there.
