In addition to the keyboard setting that lets you type in all capital letters, your iPhone has options for some other useful things, too. For example, when you go to Settings > General > Keyboard > you can turn on the Auto-Correction setting if you want your iPhone to automatically fix spelling mistakes as you type.
You can also enable a setting for Auto-Capitalization where the device will automatically capitalize words after punctuation and proper nouns that it identifies.
Note that this setting only affects apps that utilize the default iPhone keyboard. If you are using another app that uses its own keyboard, or if you have another keyboard installed, then this setting won’t change the ability to type in capital letters in those situations.
You can exit Caps Lock mode on the iPhone by pressing the Shift key again. If you can’t find the Shift key, it is located with the letters. So you would need to tap the ABC key to get back to that keyboard mode.
