Your iPhone 13 Home screen is where you can find your apps and app folders. Tapping one of the icons there will launch the app so that you can start using it.
While you are probably accustomed to seeing new app icons when you download and install something from the App Store, you can create other app icons, too.
If there are websites that you visit a lot, then you probably have bookmarked or favorited some of them. But you also have the option of creating app icons for those websites that appear on your iPhone’s Home screen.
You can create an iPhone app icon for a Web page by opening Safari, going to the page, touching the Share button, selecting Add to Home Screen, then tapping the Add button.
This puts an icon on your Home screen that behaves just like the app icons that you are already familiar with.
If this seems like something that you are interested in trying then keep reading our tutorial below and see how you can start using this feature to navigate to your favorite websites and Web pages in a new way on your iPhone.

More Information on Creating iPhone Website Shortcuts
Unfortunately, you aren’t able to choose the icon that gets used for the website shortcut you create. Your iPhone is going to use the icon that the website has set for this situation.
You can delete an iPhone website shortcut icon the same way you would delete an app. Just tap and hold on the app icon, then choose the Remove App option.
Another way that you can save or bookmark a website is to use the Favorites option in Safari. If you open Safari and navigate to the website you can tap the Share icon (like you did to create the app icon) then choose the Add Bookmark or Add to Favorites option.
To access your bookmarks or favorites in Safari you just need to tap the book icon at the bottom of the screen and choose the appropriate tab at the top of the screen.
