When someone calls you on your iPhone you will see a notification on the screen that you are receiving a call. you can then tap a green button to accept the call, or a red button to decline it.
If you miss a call you will see an alert or notification to let you know about that missed call, too.
Additionally, if someone whose call you missed has left you a voicemail, then you will also see a notification for that, too. Tapping on the notification will bring you to the voicemail screen where you can listen to it.
But if you dismiss that notification, or if you want to go back to your voicemails and listen to a message another time, then you might be wondering how to return to this menu.
You can listen to a voicemail on your iPhone 13 by going to Phone > Voicemail > selecting the message > tapping the Play button.
Once you have finished listening to a voicemail you will be able to return to voicemails and listen to it again, you can delete the message, or return the call.

More Information on iPhone Voicemail
The steps above assume that you have already configured voicemail on your device. If not, you may be prompted to complete a couple of steps before you are able to hear your messages. This includes things like setting a greeting and PIN. The exact steps may vary depending on your mobile provider.
the other options that appear when you open a voicemail include a trash can button that you can tap to delete the message and a phone button that you can use to call the person back who left you the message.
Your iPhone also has a visual voicemail feature (dependent on mobile providers) where it can transcribe the audio in the message so that you can read it instead of listening to it. This is really helpful when it works properly.
If you delete a message then you will see a “Deleted Messages” section at the bottom of the voicemail screen. You can go in the re to hear your deleted messages, or to delete them permanently.
if you have voicemails from blocked contacts then you will also see a “Blocked Messages” section as well.
