While the iPhone 13 screen is quite large and has a high resolution, it’s still possible that you are having trouble seeing app icons, or reading the names of apps.
Some apps have very recognizable icons that you can identify no matter how clearly you can see them, but some apps have similar looks, or are difficult to distinguish from others.
if you have been wondering if it was possible to make your apps bigger on an iPhone, then you are in luck.
Your can make your iPhone 13 app icons bigger by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > View > then choose Zoomed and tap Set.
Then when you return to your Home screen, you will notice that the size of the app icons have increased, and that they are, hopefully, easier to see.
Our tutorial continues below with more information on changing the app size on an iPhone, as well as some other settings you can check out which can make the iPhone screen easier to see.

More Information on How to Change the Size of iPhone Apps
Changing the setting we discuss in the article above is going to make your app icons bigger on your iPhone, but it’s also going to increase the size of other objects and content on the device as well.
You can make the app icons bigger on an iPad, too, in iOS 15. If you open Settigns on the iPad and choose the Home Screen & Dock option you will be able to enable a setting called Use Large App Icons.
Since the iPad has a bigger screen this can be really useful, especially if children are using the device and rely on the icon pictures more than the words.
Note that iPhone models that have “Edge to Edge” screens, like the iPhone X, don’t allow you to change the display zoom.
The Display & Brightness menu also had a “Text Size” option where you can choose to make the text on your screen bigger, too.
Additionally, if you go to Settings > Accessibility you will see several options listed in the “Vison” section of the menu that can help make your screen easier to see. These options include:
- VoiceOver
- Zoom
- Display & Text Size
- Motion
- Spoken Content
- Audio Descriptions
