More Information on iPhone 13 Calendar Sharing
As we mentioned above, you are only able to do this iPhone calendar sharing for your iCloud calendars. If you want to share a different calendar listed there, such as a Gmail calendar, then you will need to open the Gmail Calendar app, or you will need to go to https://calendar.google.com, then share the calendar with someone from there.
After you add the person to the calendar, it will send them an invitation, which they will need to accept to be able to start seeing your calendar.
Under the “Shared With” section of the “Edit Calendar” page, you will see the email address or name of the person with who you are sharing the calendar. If you tap their name, you will see options on another screen for:
- Allow Editing – This lets the other person also make changes to the calendar. You can turn this off if you just want them to be able to view the calendar.
- Resend Sharing Invitation
- Stop Sharing
After you tap the Calendars option at the bottom of the Calendars app to view all of your current calendars, there is an “Add Calendar” button at the bottom-left of the screen that you can use to add more calendars to your iCloud calendar. Depending on the nature of your calendar sharing, you might prefer to do this to limit the events that the shared contact can see.
You can tap the circle next to each of your calendars to either add them to the default calendar view or remove them.
