Step 1: On your iPhone, launch the Messages app.
Step 2: Select the chat you want to rename.

Step 4: Select Change Name and Photo at the top of the screen.
Step 5: Type the message’s desired name into the “Enter a Group Name” box, then click the Done button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Tap Done once more to return to the conversation.
