The steps in this post were completed on an iPhone 14 Plus running iOS 16.5.
These processes apply to a wide range of iOS versions as well as the majority of iPhone models, including the following:

Step 1: Find and hold the icon for the program you wish to uninstall.
Step 2: Select the Remove App option.
Step 3: Click on the Delete App button.
Step 4: Tap the Delete button to confirm.
