While the screens on smartphones have been getting better and better as display technology improves, you are still dealing with a fairly small screen that can display a lot of information.
The Google Pixel 4A has a good screen that is both clear and relatively large, but it’s possible that you would like the font on the screen to be larger.
Luckily Android 11 on your phone has an option that you can adjust if you would like to make the words and numbers larger.

More Information on Adjusting the Size of Words on a Pixel 4A
Changing the size of the text will affect any app that uses the system font information to display its content on the screen.
However, some apps, especially games and other apps that deliver media, like streaming video apps, may not be affected by this change.
The font size options that you can choose from are:
- Small
- Default
- Large
- Largest
Each time you choose a different size, the sample text will update to show you how big the text will be with that setting.
On the Advanced screen before the Font size menu, there is an option called Display size. if you choose that option you can also make the items on your screen smaller or larger.
Note that changing the size of screen items can affect the layout of the apps that you use as well. This can include moving around objects and buttons, which can cause you to tap the wrong things until you become accustomed to the updated layout.
