How to Turn Off Flash on Google Pixel 4A

The camera on the Google Pixel 4A smartphone is able to create some good pictures and videos. These can be improved in low-light situations with the help of the flash, which can be configured to go off automatically, or you can keep it on all the time.

But that flash can sometimes be problematic, or you might be going someplace where camera flashes are strictly forbidden.

In such a case you will need to know how to disable the phone’s camera flash if you intend to still take pictures.

You can turn off the camera flash on a Google Pixel 4A by opening the Camera app, touching the down arrow at the top of the screen, then choosing the Off button next to the Flash setting.

Once you have completed these steps to change the setting for the flash feature you should be able to take pictures in any lighting condition without needing to worry that the flash will go off.

Our guide below walks you through the process of changing the flash setting on the Pixel 4A, plus we provide additional information on some other camera settings.
